Katie here! Before I fell in love with weddings, I'd been part of the planning teams for larger corporate events for work and curated cozy artist events in college. But after planning and styling my own wedding in 2022, I realized I'd found my calling! I have certifications in both Wedding Planning and Wedding Styling from The Wedding Academy, and I've assisted with other established Wedding Coordination companies in Portland, OR.

It's been such a privilege to help other couples navigate this complex process and help create magical memories that feel totally *you*. What is your coordination style?

Being prepared and informed helps eliminate unwanted surprises, so I love utilizing hearty, color-coded spreadsheets and listing out tons of details so nothing gets forgotten. I'm also an artist at heart, so I love to play with the perfectly imperfect aesthetic balance of the tablescapes and decor. Let's wow your guests with smooth, behind the scenes coordination and give them something pretty to photograph while we're at it!

I believe in respectful communication and that we all deserve to have the wedding of our dreams. Whether your wedding plan is minimal or extravagant, your comfort and your memories are what's most important. You always have 100% control of your wedding while I'll be there to make minor decisions on your behalf.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm located in Vancouver, WA right across the river from Portland, OR. There's no additional charge for me to travel within Vancouver/Portland.
But with so many beautiful locations throughout Washington and Oregon, I'd love to travel to your dream venue! Travel fees of $.50/mile charged for anything further than 50 miles outside of zip code 98662. Additional fees for travel requiring an overnight stay.

How do you get paid?

After we decide on a planning package, I will send you an invoice for 50% of the package fee (this also saves your date!) and the rest may be paid in installments. Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal are great!
